frequently asked QUESTIONS
Do I need a reservation?
- We highly recommend you book your ride beforehand. We rarely have same day availabilities.

Do you have a weight limit?
- Our weight limit is 240 pounds whether you are riding alone or riding double with a child aged 5 & under. Our horses go out on multiple rides a day. Most of our saddles and saddle pads add at least 20+ pounds additional.

What should I wear?
- We highly recommend long pants and closed toe shoes. We ride out in the woods.

What should I bring?
- We have saddle bags on all of our saddles. This allows you to bring your phone, keys, wallet and a drink with you. A well-fitting hat and sunglasses would be good for a sunny day. We do recommend spraying with bug spray before your ride.

Will we get to run or trot our horse on the ride?
- We do not run or trot on our rides. Our trail rides are walk only for the safety of our horses and riders. We ride on uneven ground in a wooded area.

Do you accept tips?
- Our wranglers do accept tips. They try their best to ensure everything goes safe and smoothly. If you enjoyed your ride, please thank your wrangler by tipping them. It is much appreciated, but not expected!

What happens if there is bad weather during our scheduled ride?
- If there is light rain, we normally ride through it. If there is heavy rain or lightening, we cancel or reschedule rides for the day.

What is your cancellation policy?
- We work on a reservation only policy. Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 48 hours' notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by email to cancel or inquire about a reservation.

What happens if we show up late?
- We work on a reservation only policy. If you show up late for your reserved ride time, your reservation will be cut short or canceled. No refund will be made for the time difference. No-shows will be charged the full price.
